Frontend Engineer Intern
About This Internship
This is an internship position designed for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience. Internships typically last 3-6 months and may lead to full-time opportunities based on performance. You'll work closely with experienced team members who will mentor you throughout your journey.
About This Role
Fijara is offering a Frontend Engineer Internship for aspiring developers looking to launch their careers in web development. This is a 4-month volunteer program designed to provide hands-on experience working with modern frontend technologies on real projects.
It is important to understand that this internship is primarily a learning and development opportunity. As an intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers, participate in real projects under mentorship, learn industry best practices, and build a foundation for your professional career. This is a volunteer position, though compensation may be provided at the successful completion of the internship based on your performance and contributions.
During the 4-month internship, you will gain practical experience with frontend frameworks like React, learn to write clean, maintainable code, participate in code reviews to improve your skills, work on actual client projects under supervision, and build portfolio pieces you can showcase. The goal is for you to emerge from this internship with marketable skills and real-world experience.
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate eagerness to learn, basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ability to commit to the 4-month program, strong communication skills, and willingness to accept feedback and iterate. Prior personal projects or coursework in web development is beneficial but not required.
This internship can serve as a pathway to project-based work at Fijara. Interns who demonstrate strong performance, attention to detail, and professional growth during the program may be invited to join our project-based team upon completion. We view this as an investment in developing the next generation of talented frontend engineers.
