About This Role
Fijara is offering a Node.js Backend Internship for developers who want to specialize in JavaScript-based backend development. This 4-month volunteer program focuses on building expertise with Node.js while working on real projects under experienced mentorship.
This internship is structured as a volunteer learning opportunity. You will work closely with senior Node.js developers, participate in actual project work, and develop the skills needed for a professional backend development career. Compensation may be provided at the end of the 4-month program based on your performance and contributions.
Throughout the internship, you will learn Node.js backend development including Express.js, database interaction with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, API design, authentication, and asynchronous programming patterns. You will work on real projects, receive detailed code reviews, and develop professional development practices that will serve you throughout your career.
Ideal candidates have basic JavaScript knowledge, interest in server-side development, ability to commit to the 4-month program, eagerness to learn and receive feedback, and strong problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with basic Node.js concepts is helpful but not required.
