About This Role
We are offering a Python Backend Internship at Fijara for individuals who want to build their backend development skills with Python. This 4-month volunteer program provides focused training and real project experience with Python backend technologies.
This is a volunteer internship centered on learning and professional development. You will work under the guidance of experienced Python developers, contribute to actual projects, and develop skills that will launch your backend development career. While this is primarily educational, compensation may be provided upon successful completion based on your performance.
During the internship, you will learn Python backend development including Flask or Django frameworks, database design and interaction with PostgreSQL, API development, authentication implementation, and testing practices. You will work on real projects, receive code reviews and feedback, and build a portfolio of Python backend work.
We seek candidates with basic Python knowledge, interest in backend development, commitment to the 4-month program, willingness to learn and improve continuously, and good communication skills. Personal projects or coursework in Python is helpful but not required as long as you demonstrate aptitude and motivation.
This internship provides a pathway into professional Python development. Interns who show strong progress, attention to detail, and professional conduct may be invited to continue with Fijara on a project basis.
