About This Role
We are offering a Product Design Internship at Fijara for individuals passionate about creating user-centered digital products. This 4-month volunteer program combines UX research with UI design skills through real project experience.
This is a volunteer internship focused on comprehensive design learning. You will work under the guidance of experienced product designers, contribute to actual projects, and develop the full range of skills needed for a product design career. While this is primarily educational, compensation may be provided upon successful completion based on your performance.
Throughout the internship, you will learn the entire product design process from user research through final visual design. This includes conducting user research, creating personas and user journeys, designing wireframes and prototypes, producing high-fidelity visual designs, and presenting your work for feedback. You will use industry-standard tools and follow professional design processes.
Ideal candidates demonstrate passion for user-centered design, basic proficiency with design tools, understanding of UX principles, commitment to the 4-month program, and ability to accept feedback constructively. A portfolio showing design thinking, even from personal or academic projects, is helpful.
This internship provides a pathway into professional product design. Interns who demonstrate creative growth, attention to detail, and professional conduct may be invited to continue with Fijara on a project basis. We see this as an opportunity to develop well-rounded product designers for our team.
