About This Role
Fijara is offering a UI/UX Design Internship for aspiring designers who want to build their career in product design. This 4-month volunteer program provides hands-on experience with real design projects under the mentorship of experienced designers.
This internship is primarily a learning opportunity structured as a volunteer position. You will work alongside professional designers, learn industry-standard tools and processes, and gain practical experience that will form the foundation of your design career. Compensation may be provided at the successful completion of the program based on your performance and growth.
During the 4-month internship, you will learn UX research methods, wireframing and prototyping, visual design principles, design systems, and professional design workflows. You will work on actual client projects under supervision, receive design critiques and feedback, and build a portfolio of real work. Tools you will master include Figma and other industry-standard design software.
We seek candidates with basic understanding of design principles, familiarity with design tools like Figma, ability to commit to the 4-month program, strong visual sensibility and attention to detail, and willingness to learn and iterate based on feedback. Personal design projects or relevant coursework is beneficial.
Successful interns may be invited to join our project-based design team upon completion. This internship is designed to develop promising designers into professionals capable of handling client work independently.
